He holds a PhD in Finance from Punjabi University, India. His research interests include electronic and mobile banking adoption, financial inclusion, micro and small enterprise development, personal financial management, tax compliance, insurance demand, and capital market development in Ethiopia. His research works have been published in several reputable journals, and he holds a Professional Competency Certificate in consultancy from the Ethiopian Management Institute (EMI).
